Student Research
Xavier University
At Xavier University, conducting research is a significant part of the doctoral and postgraduate student experience. We encourage inter-disciplinary research support and provide an increasing number of opportunities for students to engage in significant — often publishable — research through independent projects. From classroom projects to final thesis, report, dissertation, conducting research is a significant part of the doctoral and postgraduate student experience and summer internships.
Our student research is self-directed work in which students from all areas of study work individually or as part of a team to explore issues of interest to them. You will get a chance to collaborate with faculty mentors on actual research projects, and learn about a particular topic in a field and the research process in general.
